Jaron Dandridge

Director of Small Business and Community Engagement

Jaron Dandridge serves as the Director of Small Business and Community Engagement for Volt Energy Utility, overseeing outreach to contractors, vendors, and community stakeholders across the country. He maintains a specific focus on small business enterprises, which specialize in services geared towards the clean energy development sector. Jaron also serves as a liaison to community organizations that work to enhance the quality of life for people affected by harmful environmental conditions. These communities benefit from a percentage of revenue generated by Volt projects developed for its corporate clients. Jaron has been a champion of small business and community engagement throughout his professional career.  He also volunteers a portion of his time with the Sharing the Power Foundation. 

An engineer by training, Jaron has spent a large portion of his professional career as a manufacturing manager for several large companies across Virginia and Maryland. During his time as a manager, Jaron was recognized as a standout leader and afforded the opportunity to spearhead several continuous improvement projects. Jaron also serves as a member of the Henrico County Planning Commission in his hometown of Richmond, Virginia.  As a member of the Planning Commission, he is an advisor to the municipal governing body on issues and policies related to planning, land use regulations, rezoning requests, and community development.

Jaron received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Hampton University. Before transitioning to management, his career included working as a Nuclear Test Engineer for Newport News Ship Building, now Northrup Grumman. Most recently, he worked in the aerospace industry as a manager at Eaton Corporation in Beltsville, Maryland.
