Our Environmental Justice Power Purchase Agreement™ is crafted to deliver reliable utility-scale energy for clients who embrace clean energy and environmental justice.
Environmental Justice Power Purchase Agreement
Volt Energy Utility, LLC is a national minority-owned solar energy development firm that develops, finances, and operates utility-scale solar projects. Volt Energy Utility and its corporate partners contribute a portion of revenue generated from the EJPPA™ to the Sharing The Power Foundation which directs funding to support clean energy, environmental health and economic justice programs that are aligned with the interests of corporate partners.
Developing a pipeline of diverse talent in the clean energy and sustainability industry.
As the clean energy sector expands, so does the need to identifying the pool of diverse talent across the disciplines in finance, accounting, engineering, marketing, legal and environmental justice that can fulfill the human resource needs of our corporate partners and organizations.
Support national and local environmental justice organizations and programs.
Environmental Justice is more than a catchy phrase – it’s an essential movement. We target our funding to clean energy and EJ programs and causes that benefit and serve communities that historically have been marginalized and excluded from the benefits of the clean energy economy.
Provide scholarships for students of color that pursue careers in clean energy
The clean energy movement will not reach its potential without preparing the next generation of leaders. Volt supports clean-energy focused scholarships, programs and curricula in colleges, especially HBCUs, that are producing our next leaders.
Fund community clean energy projects in underserved communities.
There are great programs and people providing renewable energy services and support in underserved communities. We want to help them succeed by contributing to their efforts.
Provide grants for diverse clean energy businesses.
Competing in the renewable energy sector can be challenging. We search for opportunities to support minority-owned firms providing goods and services in the industry.
