Destiny Okonkwo serves as an Environmental Intern for Volt Energy Utility overseeing the financial operations of contractors and vendors across the country, with specific focus on environmental justice and clean energy projects within Volt Energy Utility and Volt’s nonprofit organization Sharing the Power. Destiny is a highly ambitious senior at the illustrious Texas Southern University studying for a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the Barbara Jordan-Mickey Leland School of Public Affairs.

Destiny is involved in many different organizations on her campus serving as the Comptroller of the Texas Southern University Student Government Association, President of the TSU Environmental Conservation Organization, a Member of TSU Collegiate 100 organization, a member of the University Criminal Justice Association and etc.  

Her current ambitions to become an environmental attorney and later own her own nonprofit organization to help the homeless.
